The 35th edition of the International Literary Prize Città di Palermo-Mondello appointed the new winners for the current year. To win the prestigious award for the "work of Italian author" were: Mario Desiati with the novel "The land of unhappy brides", published by Mondadori, Tiziano Scarpa "Stabat Mater", Einaudi edition, with the Warriors and Osvaldo book "insatiable", published by Bloomsbury Publishing. For the poetry section Gregorio Scalise was awarded for the collection "Selected Poems 1968-2007", published by Sossella, the first feature award went to Charles Carabba for "The years of rain," Pequod edition. The foreign author who went Viktor Erofeev is an international award for the book published by Einaudi "The Good Stalin".
